Morgan Schneiderlin to Manchester United?
The Daily Star has now reported that Manchester United have defeated Arsenal in the race to sign Southampton’s Morgan Schneiderlin. The newspaper claims that the Red Devils have agreed to a deal, ahead of their north London rivals for the 25-year-old Frenchman.
The Saints midfield superstar has been all over the news in recent times and a number of Premier League clubs were keen on acquiring his services. He wants to play in the Champions League next season and will mostly be leaving the Saint Marys’ in the summer. He has been linked with Arsenal for more than a year now. However, Louis van Gaal’s side have reportedly, won the battle for his signature.
The French international joined Southampton in 2008 and has since then managed to make 230 appearances for his club, scoring a tally of 14 goals as well. He is quite an impressive player and his move to Old Trafford could be a huge boost for United.
