The Alexis Sanchez Saga: 3 Star Players Wenger Can Look At If The Chilean Decides To Quit Arsenal

Of all the things that are not going right at the Emirates at the moment the future of one Alexis Sanchez is what will trouble the Arsenal fans the most. The Chilean winger has been the most effective player in front of goal for the Gunners this season scoring 17 goals in the league already. However, recent reports suggest that he is unsettled at the club and is looking for an exit in the summer. Reports of a bust-up with the manager have not helped his cause and Arsenal look like they will lose him at the end of the season. How can Arsenal cope with his loss? Here are few alternatives Arsenal should look at if they lose Sanchez this summer:

Isco (Real Madrid):

The 24-year-old Spanish star one of the many exciting players at the Bernabeu who is not able to get regular game time. Isco, who has been influential in most games he has played for the Spanish giants this season, has just 12 starts to his name in the domestic League, and is growing more and more frustrated. he is a kind of player who would fit into almost any of the top clubs around the world. There are very few clubs who would reject the opportunity of signing the young Spaniard. He’d be a perfect fit for Arsenal too just in case Alexis Sanchez decides to leave the club.

Isco might be a good replacement for Sanchez at Arsenal.

Marco Reus (Borussia Dortmund):

The German star is sheer quality and would be a like-to-like replacement for Alexis Sanchez. This summer could be the right time for Wenger to spend on him. The 27-year-old has scored more than 20 goals in 2 of the last 3 seasons and is a player who fits into the system at the Emirates. He may be an expensive signing but he is a player who can replace the Chilean at Arsenal. As versatile as Sanchez, Rues can play a variety of roles and though his injury history is not great, Wenger can look at him as a replacement for Sanchez this summer.

Alexandre Lacazette (Lyon):

Another star who Wenger can consider signing is French International Lacazette. Standing as one of the most prolific goal scorers in Europe at the moment, he has already scored more than 20 goals in the French domestic League this season. At just 25, he is a player who can help Arsenal even in the long term. Sanchez has played a false-9 role to perfection this season but, if Arsenal need a genuine goal scorer then Lacazette could be the answer. He is quick, good with the ball at his feet, and he is an excellent finisher. He is everything that a striker must be and would be a great buy.

Lacazette can be the out and out striker who Arsenal need.
