According to Daily Express, Arsenal are seriously thinking about re-signing of Alex Song from Barcelona.
Former Arsenal player is currently struggling to get some game time with the star-studded Barcelona team. Song has only started ten games this season. He was also voted as one of the worst signings of this season by Spanish Media.
Even though Arteta is doing a fair job with a defensive midfield role, still Arsenal lack some steel in the midfield to control big games. So they are considering a £12.7m bid for A.Song when the window opens.
It is also believed that Arsenal are willing to spend a huge sum of 70 million in the Summer market to make them title contenders again. They shortlisted three next generation German stars – Borussia Dortmund pair Robert Lewandowski and Mario Goetze, with Lars Bender, of Bayer Leverkusen.
Chief scout Steve Rowley is camping at Germany for few months now adding fuel to all these rumors.
