It has been a long time since Piotr Zieliński has been linked with a move to Liverpool, but according to his agent, the midfielder’s £11.6m move to Liverpool is in doubt.
The Polish international enjoyed 2 brilliant loan spells at Empoli from Udinese and has caught the eyes for Liverpool’s manager Jurgen Klopp.
It is also reported that Liverpool are eyeing a move for Borussia Munchengladbach’s midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud and that has stalled Zieliński’s move to Anfield.
The Reds finished 8th in the Premier League table, and the German manager is all set to rebuild his squad in order to fight for the honour in the next season. Zieliński’s agent was asked about his move to Liverpool and he replied:
“Is the Liverpool move at risk? Yes, maybe,” Bolek told ForzaRoma.info.
“It’s difficult to say [whether Roma are still interested]. At the moment the lad is totally concentrated on the Euros.”
