Manchester United’s Spanish Star Set to Leave the Club in January

There have now been speculations confirming that Gines Carvajal, the agent of Manchester United keeper Victor Valdes, has been speaking to the Spanish media about his client’s future. The former Barcelona goalie has been frustrated since moving to Old Trafford, as a free agent. The Spanish international originally joined the Red Devils on a training only basis, though manager Louis van Gaal offered him a contract after his return from injury.

The Dutchman has since then been termed as the bad guy by the Spanish media, with the 33-year-old superstar being banned from the United squad. The Spaniard tried to leave this summer though a move failed and things only got worse and it seems now that a January exit is on the cards. According to Spanish newspaper Sport Carvajal said, “We depend on Manchester to let Victor go.”

So it is clear that Valdes wants to go in the new year and if Van Gaal can find a suitable club to sell him to for a sizable fee, it seems the deal would be surely on.
