Another loss and Max Allegri in all likeliness could be managing his last game this Saturday. However when digging deeper their problems lay in their mediocre play across the board having only kept 1 clean sheet to date.

The key to this team is not only how forwards Giampaolo Pazzini and Stephan El Shaarawy form a partnership but arguably more important is the needed improvement from a questionable defensive core. The inclusion of midfielders like Antonio Nocerino and Nigel De Jong are a good attempt at making the problem but they can only do so much, the club will likely need to tread water until January when they can spend on bringing in defensive upgrades.
Probable Starting Lineup [3-4-3]: Amelia; Mexes, Bonera, Acerbi; De Sciglio, Montolivo, De Jong, Nocerino; Emanuelson, Pazzini, El Shaarawy

Genoa

Genoa have their own crisis to deal with after their current four match winless run. . The heartbreaking defeat to AS Roma at home after securing a two goal lead must have greatly hampered their confidence coming in to this game but with the way Milan are playing, Genoa should really count on their chances.

The experienced Sebastian Frey will guard the Genoa net with Cesare Bovo and Andreas Granqvist in front of him forming the heart of the defence. Genoa will field a conservative four man midfield.  The two man frontline will be made up of Immobile and Borriello, who have been in decent goal-scoring form of late.

Probable Starting Lineup [4-4-2]: Frey; Sampirisi, Granqvist, Bovo, Moretti; Jankovic, Kucka, Seymour, Antonelli; Immobile, Borriello
