AC Milan Chief Galliani Confident Of His Team

Seriagiants AC Milan are having a horrible start to the campaign as they once again failed to secure a win. AC Milan are currently in 11th place with only 3 points on the board after three games. Milan fans were confident that their side will secure a win in a home game against Atalanta, but much to everyone’s disappointment the Italian side failed to put the ball in the back of the net, ending up losing 0-1 to Atalanta.

Milan fans fear the glory days are behind them

However, AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani insists there’s no reason for panic after a poor start to the season. Fans are disappointed with the departure of players like Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Thiago Silva and Antonio Cassano but Galliani feels that he has a complete squad.

“Milan are competitive and it’s not true that we are no longer ambitious,” insisted Galliani ahead of tonight’s game with Atalanta.

“We have invested a great deal of money in this squad and must try to do well while balancing the books.

“After all, this is what UEFA invoke too. Sooner or later all the clubs will have to adapt to this style of business. It’s a modern Milan.”
