AC Milan Celebrates 1 Million Followers On Twitter

AC Milan created their official Twitter account more than two years ago now and have reached over a Million followers. From 300,000 in January 2012 over to 1 Million by April 2013.

The Twitter bird was painted red by the Rossoneri who launched a video celebrating its first million followers. The team stands today as one of the most popular brands in European football and definitely the most popular amongst the Serie A clubs. It’s cross town rivals Inter have a mere 300,000 while the Turnin club Juve have around 500,000.

The walk from Milan in the social network of 140 characters, began tweeting the team’s games live and ushered in various activities like asking the vice president, questioning the coach and players which has increased the number of supporters of the Rossoneri.
