Why This Arsenal Superstar Should Shrug Off His Injuries And Continue To Improve His Game For The Greater Good

When things do not go right for you, they just do not go right at all. Arsenal now have to deal with Aaron Ramsey, who got injured in the loss against Liverpool. The Welsh midfielder got injured in the game and it has now been reported that he will be out of action for about a month due to a hamstring problem.

The decision to play him did smack of desperation from Arsene Wenger, especially when other stars who had taken part in Euro 2016 were given an extended break but Ramsey was not. Arsene Wenger did admit that they had “rushed” Ramsey a little too early and now he has to spend a lot more time out of the side.

This does seem to be a recurring theme for Ramsey; he has picked up a hamstring injury six times since 2013 that does not make for good reading. These injuries also come in between a range of other issues; on total, the Welsh player has picked up 17 injuries since 2013 that is a shocking number, to say the least.

This could be due to two factors, either the player has an issue or there are problems with the training and conditioning taking place at Arsenal. The latter does seem to be a bit out of the question at the moment as many players aren’t facing the same issues as the 25-year-old star.

There could be a problem with the way Arsenal are treating him in particular as he keeps on picking up niggly injuries and he could be the Daniel Sturridge of the side but another big question does come up is why was he not rested when the other players were?

Does Arsene Wenger expect a lot more out of him or is he trying to burn out the player even before the season starts? Any such suggestions of Wenger trying to play with Ramsey’s career should be thrown out of the window as the manager was the one person who believed in Ramsey even when he suffered that horrific injury against Stoke City all those years ago.

Ramsey has come back stronger than ever before at Arsenal and his performances at Euro 2016 showed that he can be a world beater if played in the right position. At the moment, Arsenal do not have such an issue about rushing Ramsey back as Ozil and the likes should negate the loss of Ramsey but the Welshman could do well with a move to a new club.

His performances for Arsenal have slipped from great to mediocre since the 2013-14 season and a new club can give him a chance to rebuild his career. Arsenal still would do well to keep him, especially after his terrific Euro 2016 performances but the Welshman needs his time to get back into the groove and it would not be a surprise if he comes back stronger after this injury and leads Arsenal to a decent finish.

Ramsey is a good player to have and losing him does not make sense for Arsene or Arsenal. They need to treat him better and that is the only way he can star at the club and give them those amazing performances but on a regular basis.
