Ousting Ricardo Pereira might be a problem for the youngster as the Portuguese international is one of the very best in his position in the league but there is no better player to learn from and Leicester would need an able deputy to be a force in all competitions.

Brendan Rodgers is looking to build another young and vibrant side with the likes of Tielemans, James Maddison, Harvey Barnes, Harry Maguire and Ben Chilwell.

He has proved it before at many different levels, when he first achieved promotion with Swansea, and lit up the Premier League with his brand of attacking football based on lots of possession of the ball.

He then got a big move with Liverpool and after taking over a team that was struggling under Roy Hodgson and Kenny Dalglish, he got some life into it by making a serious title push using youngsters like Raheem Sterling, Philippe Coutinho, Jordon Ibe and Daniel Sturridge.
