It is no secret that Jose Mourinho is on the verge of being sacked at Chelsea, if he can’t turn things around at Stamford Bridge in the upcoming days. In between all the drama that is going on, the Blues lost yet another game at home on Saturday against rivals Liverpool 3-1, which would have made things even worse for the Portuguese coach. Now, it is up to owner Roman Abramovich to decide his manager’s fate for the west London side.
The Russian billionaire has a list of options to replace Mourinho though it seems he has given him one last chance in the form of the game against Stoke City at the weekend. If Mourinho fails to deliver, he could be sacked and a new manager could be appointed in the upcoming week, it seems.
After winning the Premier League and the League Cup, no one could have imagined that Chelsea would make such a horrific start to the title defence, as they currently lie at 15th place in the points table.
