5 Players Who Have No Future At Manchester United Next Season

Manchester United keep rolling along, despite not having the best start to the season, Louis Van Gaal’s side has gathered momentum like an old pickup truck and they don’t seem like settling for third position in the League standings, some might scoff at the belief at the club, but Van Gaal must be credited for turning the club around.

Nani

He however will have his eyes set on a new set of players as he is promised a large war chest for next season as they really set up a charge for the title and this means many players will leave the club as well. We look at just a few of the players who could be out from the United team next season.

Chris Smalling

If there ever was one position which has troubled United this season is the centre backs. Smalling has been average and that is actually doing him a favour. It is expected that he will leave the club at the end of the season as United try to find suitors for the defender, Arsenal are linked with him but would they really go for another United player?

Anders Lindegaard

Manchester United did sign the former Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes after his deal with Monaco fell through, this means the chances of Anders making another appearance for United is extremely slim and he could be out of the club next season.

Nani

The first in a set of loanees out from United, Nani went back to his old club of Sporting Lisbon and while he has done a reasonable job there, he isn’t expected back at Manchester United as they would try to make a quick deal and get some cash for the Portuguese winger.

Javier Hernandez

Chicharito

You have to hand it to the agent of Hernandez; rarely does a player leave a club the size of Manchester United to join another big club in the world of football on loan, let alone Real Madrid. Chicharito has scored 5 goals for Madrid this season, but he probably will not be returning to Old Trafford to take up another season at Manchester.

Tom Cleverly

Another loanee, the young Tom Cleverly might have left United to resurrect his career but it seems the Englishman will not have a future when his loan spell ends and he could be looking for a new club come the start of next season.
