According to Manchester Evening News, Manchester United hopes of signing Eveton super talent Ross Barkley is very minimal after a recent fall-out in their relationship between the the two English clubs.
Dadvid Moyes who joined Manchester United from Everton wanted both Baines and Fellaini to join him at Old Trafford. He successfully signed Fellaini while his efforts to sign Baines failed to bear any fruitful results.
It is believed that Everton are unhappy at the way how Manchester United used Moyes to lure their players away from Goodison park. This resulted in a fall-out between the 2 clubs and now this could ruin Manchester United’s chase to sign Ross Barkley. United’s noisy neighbors Manchester City are now considered as the favorites to sign the rising English international.
A source close to Barkley hinted that he may leave Everton in the pursuit of champions league football and trophies.
The source revealed,
“It’s a Wayne Rooney situation all over again. Yet another player has comes through the brilliant academy set up at Goodison who so called bigger clubs are desperate to get their hands on.
“Ross Barkley is Everton through and through and flourishing under Roberto Martinez.. However, he is ambitious and wants to be at a club on the biggest stage.”
