Liverpool Transfer Updates

Merseyside club Liverpool will now look to press forward to complete their eighth signing of the summer transfer window, after it was reported that the club had started negotiations with Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint-Germain to sign the highly-rated defender Lucas Digne. The Reds have been quite active in the market so far with Kop Boss Brendan Rodgers looking to strengthen his squad.

Liverpool have already added stars like James Milner, Adam Bogdan, Danny Ings, Joe Gomez, Roberto Firmino, Nathaniel Clyne and Christian Benteke to their squad and are planning to sign more as they look to win some trophies.

The Mirror Sport reported that PSG manager Laurent Blanc was planning on keeping Digne at the Parc des Princes after the 22-year-old impressed during pre-season.

The youngster will try to earn a place in the French national team for next summer’s European Championships on home soil and might consider moving away for some regular football to prove his capabilities.
