With several of Chelsea strikers already left the club, the current Napoli hitman has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.
Gonzalo Higuain has expressed his desire to leave Napoli as he has turned down an offer to extend his current contract. With a release clause of £78 million, it is not every day that we see this kind of signing happening but a record breaking goal scorer for the club, very few in world football can afford him. Luckily Chelsea is among those few. AS has reported that the Argentine ace has caught the eyes of the incoming manager Antonio Conte and he is currently looking to find suitable replacement for Alexandre Pato, Radamel Falcao and the likely exit of Loic Remy.
Among other names, Alvaro Morata and Graziano Pelle has also been linked with a Chelsea move recently and while all these are good signing, Conte is not going to let Diego Costa leave Stamford Bridge as per the report.
