7 goals, 5 assists – This top-class Italian could be the man to hand Chelsea the PL title and Sarri must get him

Why Chelsea should definitely make a move for Lorenzo Insigne

Chelsea continued their strong form after beating Manchester City last weekend by beating Brighton and Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium this weekend. The Blues have looked very good under new manager Maurizio Sarri and have progressed at a steady rate.

They are also the first club to have inflicted a defeat on Manchester City this season. The former Napoli manager has definitely done a splendid job at the club so far. He brought in a number of top quality signings in the summer as well and has done very well in the market.

Surely, the Italian will want to further strengthen the squad when the transfer window reopens in January. Chelsea should consider making a move for Napoli winger Lorenzo Insigne. The 27-year-old has been in fine form for Napoli over the last couple of seasons.

He is also one of the most potent forces in the Serie A and a born goal machine. The 27-year-old has made a total of 15 Serie A appearances this season, scoring 7 goals and providing 5 assists. The Italian is one of the most technically gifted players in Europe. (Stats courtesy – Whoscored)

Insigne also previously fared very well during Sarri’s time at Napoli. The Italian developed into one of the club’s finest under the current Chelsea manager. Surely, a move to London would be hard to resist for Insigne if Sarri comes calling.

The Italian is also very familiar with the Sarri-ball and was a true embodiment of the style back in the day. Chelsea need another quality attacker to really dominate the Premier League and Insigne would be an ideal fit.

Insigne possesses all the qualities to flourish in the Premier League. He is an immaculate dribbler of the ball, can create tons of space and is a clinical finisher in front of the goal. The Italian is versatile enough to play anywhere across the frontline as well. He would provide Maurizio Sarri with a healthy set of options.
