Aleksandr Golovin will complete Unai Emery’s new look Arsenal

Arsenal have so far been a very busy club in the transfer market. The club have already completed deals for a number of high-profile players as Unai Emery bids to take the Gunners back to the top. There is an air of excitement amongst the Arsenal fans as they embark on a new journey.

The Gunners are in the market for a new attacking midfielder after selling Jack Wilshere to West Ham United. Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla has also announced that he would be departing the club this summer, which means the Gunners are short of creative talent in the middle of the park.

Unai Emery has identified Russian talent Aleksandr Golovin as a potential signing for the club. Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing the CSKA Moscow sensation who has been making a name for himself recently. Golovin was also very impressive for the Russians, scoring 1 goal and providing 2 assists in 4 appearances for his nation.

The 22-year-old Russian prodigy rose to prominence with his club last season. He is one of the hottest prospects in football right now, with a number of clubs tracking the youngster. Barcelona scouts have also reportedly watched the youngster and could be interested in a move for him.

Golovin generally operates as a central attacking midfielder but he is also capable of playing on the left flank. Vision, passing ability and long-range shots, the Russian possesses all the right qualities to flourish as one of the best attacking midfielders in the coming years.

The Russian made a total of 26 appearances in the league last season, scoring 5 goals and providing 3 assists. He also racked up 2 goals in 5 Europa League appearances for the Russian outfit. Golovin has an impressive first touch and he is brilliant at running past defenders and playing pinpoint passes for the attackers.

The 22-year-old would provide ample support for the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette. With his supplies coming in on a regular basis, the Arsenal strikers will have a flurry of goal scoring opportunities.

The Arsenal squad is already looking much stronger than it ever did and the arrival of Aleksandr Golovin should see Unai Emery possess a more complete the squad. The former PSG coach should certainly snap up the Russian prodigy before any of their rivals do.
