Fiorentina’s striker Khaouma Babacar is linked with a move to the Anfield Stadium this summer by French Daily La Nazione. The Senegalese player has not been given much chance to play in the first team by Paulo Sausa this season.
While La Nazione seems to be all over it, it seems highly unlikely that the Reds who already have five strikers in their midst would still be looking for another developing player. With seven goals in 24 appearances, Babacar need a lot of growth in his form and Liverpool can do without any additional striker with Divock Origi performing very well.
According to the latest reports, Sampdoria is interested in the player and compared to Premier League they may give the Senegalese player more chances to play in the first team. Thus rather than moving to the Premier League staying in Serie A seems to be more beneficial for the player.
