3 Youngsters Who Could Take The League By Storm This Season Including This Chelsea And Liverpool Stars

Next season of the Premier League starts on 13th August, football fans around the world are still rubbing their eyes in disbelief after Leicester City secured the title by a margin of 10 points. All the perennial big clubs struggled last season to conjure up any sort consistency, which resulted in managerial changes at Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City. With Jose Mourinho arriving at United, Guardiola taking the reins at City and Conte coming at Stamford Bridge, along with Wenger and Kloop, it promises to be the most tightly contested season in the Premier League era.

A lot of young players came up in the lime light last season, the likes of Rashford, Reece Oxford and Alex Iwobi gave some brilliant performances throughout the year. However with new managers coming in, a lot of young players will get an opportunity to showcase their talent next season. Here we look at 3 youngsters who we feel will light up the Premier League next season.

Bertrand Traore

Chelsea were a disaster last season, recording the worst title defense in the history of Premier League. With the Champions League qualification out of their hands in the first half of the season itself, interim manager Guus Hiddink gave a chance to a host of youngster to prove their talent on the big stage. One big positive was the brilliant performance of Traore, who scored 4 goals in 5 matches. The Burkina Faso international will be keen to showcase his abilities to the new boss.  He will be looking to cement his place in the starting XI this year. The 20 year old is still pretty young but has a lot of talent, which can be nurtured, if given the right environment. He might not be included in the starting XI that often but will be great asset to bring off the bench.

Demarai Gray

After arriving from Birmingham City in January, Demarai Gray appeared regularly as a substitute during Leicester City’s fairytale title success – earning himself a winner’s medal in the process. With talisman Riyad Mahrez being sought after by the world’s top clubs, Claudio Ranieri could well ask the 20-year-old to step up to the plate on a more frequent basis for the Foxes this year.

Sheyi Ojo

The 19 year old is one of the most exciting talents to come out of the Liverpool academy in recent years. Ojo scored on his full debut for the senior team against Exeter in a FA Cup encounter. He is quick and agile, his strong movement could interest Klopp. The fact that he was regularly featuring for the senior side, showed the level of confidence Klopp has in him. A little indecisive and hasty in making decisions in the box, if guided properly by the manager, he could easily become one of the future stars for the England national team.
