3 Transfers Set To Leave A Huge Impact This Summer

With the season almost getting over, the football fraternity is once again gearing up for the transfer window. While the rumours and speculations are never ending, there are a very few probable changes that would have a huge impact in the fortunes of a particular club and world football as a whole. We look at three such supposed transfers that may have the deepest after-effects in the coming seasons.

Neymar not joining Barca this summer

Neymar– The Brazilian star is all set to leave his current club, Santos, and join Spanish giants Barcelona next season, if reports are to believed. It is being assumed that he has already made agreements with the Catalan club and the official announcement is a mere formality now. According to the same reports, Barcelona has snatched Neymar from the jaws of other big clubs for quite a reasonable sum of £25m as the youngster was hard bent to join the likes of Messi and Iniesta. This will be a huge move for Barcelona and they will once again be in the race for the best club of the world, the label which was taken away from them very recently by Bayern Munich. What this move will mean for Barcelona is that their Messi dependency could be reduced as in Neymar they will find a formidable partner of Messi. The Messi-Neymar coordination will be treat to watch from next season and the opponents will have a shiver in their spine everytime the South American duo dribbles their way towards them.

Falcao- Falcao’s move to Chelsea will make the club the strongest of the English sides, at least on papers. Chelsea, who have a talented midfield has lacked the spark in their strike force throughout the season with both Torres and Ba not performing upto the mark. This botheration will no longer persist once Falcao joins the team. Although he will not come cheap with the minimum fee to be in the likes of £45m, his purchase will make the team stronger to a lot extent.

Rooney– Finally Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that Rooney had asked for a transfer and though he claimed that Rooney has been given time to think over his decision, a transfer now looks on the cards. Although he is being linked to a number of clubs right now, Chelsea and PSG seem to be the frontrunner. This transfer will provide Rooney with a fresh lease of life after his turmoil season at Old Trafford and the striker can again explore his capabilities at a new club.
