With 9 assists and 1 goal in 10 games in the league, he is finally enjoying his football and has been given a free role in the midfield to link up with the attack. Sitting behind the front 3 and being the orchestrator, if teams nullify his creativity in midfield, this would greatly hamper Chelsea’s march to the title. In last few seasons with Barcelona, Cesc’s form dropped during the second half of the seasons. This can be a factor too.
