Although they possess the big names like Schweinsteiger, Robben and Ribery, Toni Kroos is the man who makes the team work. Capable of playing anywhere in the midfield just like Gundogan, he has a high defensive work rate and a penchant for scoring long-range goals.
Alongside the likes of Mata and possibly Muller, he could be made the brain of the team and control the ball. His ability to dominate the midfield is well-known and Bayern aren’t making full use of that.
