Three Players Who Could Join Arsenal In The Summer

Arsene Wenger will be a frustrated manager as his side have been one of the most inconsistent clubs at the top end of the table. They are at 5th place, just a point behind Liverpool, who are at 4th place. They are the outsiders to qualify for the Champions League next season and that will surely affect their transfer plans.

With UCL not more a pull at the Emirates, Wenger might have to rethink his strategies for the summer and might have to spend big if he wants top class stars to move to London this summer. Arsenal are looking at a number of exciting players for a move at the end of the season and here are three such players who could sign for the Gunners this summer:

Sead Kolasinac (Schalke 04)

The Schalke left-back is one of the most wanted players this summer. However, there are reports circulating that Arsenal have already agreed to terms with the 23-year old. The Bosnia and Herzegovina star is out of a contract at the end of the season and it is believed Wenger likes him to be a long-term solution to the left-back problems at the club. Still a young full-back, Kolasinac is a perfect fit for Wenger’s style of play and is odds on to shine at the Emirates.

Riyad Mahrez (Leicester City)

The Algerian international has been off-colour this season but he has shown that he is capable of the magical moment on more than one occasion. He was named the PFA player of the year for the previous season and has proven himself at the highest level and playing alongside some of the best in the league will surely get his form back. Arsenal may not be in the UCL next season but the whole setup at the Emirates should be enough to lure the 26-year-old this summer.

Jean Michael-Seri (OGC Nice)

A relative unknown for the English viewers, Seri is a dynamic midfielder who has sparkled for Ligue1 outfit Nice in the last two seasons. With 6 goals and 9 assists from a deeper role, one look at him shows that he is a proper ‘Arsenal-type’ player. He has not worked in the English league yet but he has all the attributes that allow him to face the challenges at the Emirates. At 25, he has gathered enough experience and could be the midfield engine to thrust Arsenal back to the top of the table.
