3 players Who Could Follow Eric Bailly To Manchester United

So Jose Mourinho finally got his first signing at Manchester United and it was a bit of a surprise. Eric Bailly, one of the best defenders from the last La Liga season certainly wasn’t expected to move to England, but the Villarreal defender is now part of the record English champions and it does seem like a move which is going to fix the problem of not having quality in the back for a number of years.

This surely will not be Manchester United’s final purchase of the season as some of the rumours suggest that a ton of players will be leaving the club and we look at three players who could be joining the new United star player next season.

Nemanja Matic

The 27-year-old Serbian did not have the best of times with Chelsea last season, but he still was one of the players who played most of the games for the Blues. Jose Mourinho knows the value of a good defensive midfielder and Matic could well shine in a club which needs someone to step up in the holding role.

The Serbian is great at tackling and knows how to deal with the pressure of playing for a top club. Sure, he had a poor season, but a new home under a manager that trusts him could well rejuvenate his career.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic

The Swedish striker, who won yet another league title at PSG, has been linked with a move to the English club since he announced that he would be leaving the French club at the end of last season.

Zlatan could be the man to take Manchester United back to the top, they have missed out on a top striker for a long time and Zlatan, being a free agent could well be the signing of the Premier League season for the Red Devils. He is the perfect striker and is known to hold Jose Mourinho in high regard; this deal could well take place right after the end of the Euros and would certainly make United team to watch out for next season.

Paul Pogba

The French midfielder was a star in the making during his first stint at United and now he is a big enough player to make a return to the Old Trafford club. Pogba has often been in the radar for Manchester United and with Jose Mourinho at the helm, he could still reach new heights.

Pogba is the man who was linked with Chelsea and Manchester City and with both clubs not in the running, apparently, it could be time for him to make a special return back to the Premier League and take Manchester United all the way to the Premier League title.
