3 Players AC Milan Are Likely To Sign This Summer

AC Milan has completely turned around their season following their poor start, a side who were completely written off to even reach the European qualification places at the start of the current campaign, fast forward 7 months the Italian giants are sitting in 3rd place in the tablle and well on course to beat Barcelona in the Champions league Round of 16 match. Taking into their current situation, AC Milan has not done so badly as predicted by the media and pundits. Massimiliano Allegri has done a wonderful job with the squad he add and with the addition of players like Mario Balotelli and kevin constant to the squad Milan has certainly struck gold.

Predicting the future of AC Milan. The top 3 most likely summer transfers for Milan:

Angelo Ogbonna

The young Torino central defender hasn’t enjoyed a perfect campaign this season, battling injury and going through patches of inconsistency. However, his skills are unquestionable and a jump to a bigger club will only help hi cause. There were reports from the Italian media that Milan made preliminary offers to Torino for the services of Ogbonna this summer but nothing has been confirmed from either parties so far.

Angelo, has also received interest from English clubs and most notably Manchester United and Arsenal are monitoring the situation of the the 24-year old. He has a good 6 to 7 years ahead of him and would instantly become a pillar of the defense for the Rossoneri.

Mattia Perin

The 20 year old Pescara goalkeeper belongs to Genoa and has already made a mark in Seria A earning praises and comparisons to Juve legend Buffon. Milan’s current goal keeper Abbiati will most probably be offloaded at the end of this season and the second choice goalkeeper Amelia has proven to be nothing more than a backup which leaves AC Milan to look else where for a shot stopper. Mattia Perin has what it takes to be the next big thing not only with Milan but with the national team as well. This is always a good news considering the bizarre rapport Milan have with the Grifoni.

Perin makes sense for Milan, and would give them an able goalkeeper with limitless potential for the next 15 years. After making his debut for Genoa back in 2011, the youngster was loaned off to Serie B side Padova which turned around his career remarkably and was highlighted with the “goal-keeper of the season” award. He is currently on loan at newly promoted Serie A side Pescara and has never looked back, his performances has been impeccable in the top flight as well and most notably the one against Fiorentina when he single handedly helped his side to keep a clean sheet and one that has thrust him into the limelight with an emphatic statement of exactly what he is capable off.

Riccardo Saponara

Although he has already been purchased from Empoli, Riccardo is basically a summer transfer and will try his best to win a spot in a very deep front line. Saponara plays on the right wing and has good pace, technique, and plenty of room to improve.

The 21-year-old rising star, who is currently co-owned by his Serie B club and Serie A side Parma, will supposedly be joining Milan after the end of this season.

These are all great signings to add to the alreadly lined-up youngsters like Bartosz Salamon, Riccardo Saponara, Mario Balotelli, M’Baye Niang, and Gabriel to spearhead the youth movement.
