Fulham Opinion: Who should sign Aleksandar Mitrovic in the summer?
Aleksandar Mitrovic joined Fulham on a permanent deal from Newcastle United after spending a season on loan at Craven Cottage. The Serbian played a massive part in Fulham’s promotion to the Premier League last season but he has been a one-man army this term.
Mitrovic has scored 10 goals so far this season but his contribution may not be enough to save Fulham from relegation. The Serbian’s quality, however, is capable of attracting a number of clubs. Here are 3 Premier League clubs who should make a move.
Marco Silva has struggled with strikers so much so that he has been forced to move Richarlison up top. The Toffees’ striker duo of Cenk Tosun and Dominic Calvert-Lewin have scored a combined 6 goals this season in the Premier League.
The Toffees need a productive striker up front and Aleksander Mitrovic will fit the role perfectly. The Serbian would thrive under Marco Silva and cause serious damage, with the likes of Sigurdsson and Richarlison supporting him.
The Serbian can guarantee a minimum of 15 goals in the league every season and this will be a massive boost in Everton’s pursuit of European football.
Crystal Palace’s forwards have been woeful this campaign and Roy Hodgson will need reinforcements in the summer. Christian Benteke is yet to find the net this campaign and Jordon Ayew has scored just once.
Michy Batshuayi is expected to return to Chelsea after his loan spell and Palace will need to sign a forward.
Mitrovic’s physical style of play will be a massive hit at Selhurst Park and his potential link-up with Wilfried Zaha is a mouth-watering prospect. Mitrovic’s aerial ability will also play a massive part for Roy Hodgson’s side since they ping balls into the box from deep.
With Crystal Palace aiming to get into the top half of the table, they will need a reliable goalscorer and Aleksandar Mitrovic can be that man.
West Ham United
Although Marko Arnautovic extended his deal to stay at the club, West Ham can never be sure of anything since his skills are certain to attract attention from rival clubs.
The Hammers should make a move for Mitrovic as a replacement for the Austrian and the former Newcastle man will thrive under Manuel Pellegrini. Mitrovic can play either with or in place of Javier Hernandez and would be a nuisance to opposition defenders.

Pellegrini and West Ham should seriously consider the option of bringing the Serbian to the Olympic Stadium.
