As things stand today, the Premier League is one of the most enterprising leagues in the world and every top player desires to set foot in England to test himself in the rigid waters that constitute Premiership football. Alexandre Lacazette, a French striker, has been a household name for some time now, for his exploits in the Ligue 1, with hometown club Olympique Lyon.

Lacazette has been attracting attention from a whole host of clubs over the past 2 years, owing to his goal-scoring rate and impressive performances at the helm of Lyon’s attack. He had one particular stand-out season which caught the eye, in the 2014/15 season when he topped the Ligue 1 scoring charts with 27 goals to his name.

There are bound to be many clubs that will be interested in signing Lacazette, due to his undoubted talent and finishing prowess. But only a handful of clubs will have a realistic chance of signing him due to the amount of interest that could be generated for his services in the summer. It is most likely that he will move to the Premier League, where his pace is bound to be a hit.

Lyon have previously held firm in their resolve to hold on to their star striker, but in the summer that stance could change as even Lyon president  John Michael Aulas has hinted that Lacazette could depart in the summer if the right offer comes in.

Here are 3 probable Premier League destinations for Alexandre Lacazette –

Arsenal

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is an admirer of the striker

For years, Arsenal fans have been screaming out for a top striker signing. Arsene Wenger, for now, continues to persist with Alexis Sanchez and Olivier Giroud as his main options upfront. But all that could change in the summer as it has been another disappointing season for Arsenal. Changes will be inevitable in the summer and Wenger could look to bring his compatriot in to ease the goal-scoring burden on Arsenal’s forwards.

His pace is bound to be an asset for an Arsenal team who have looked more threatening with the pacy Alexis Sanchez leading the line. Lacazette, owing to his goal-scoring record, could come as a dependable upgrade on the inconsistent Lucas Perez.

Liverpool

The Reds currently lack a formidable out and out striker that can lead the line for them. Daniel Sturridge has been benched, whereas Divock Origi continues to perform only in patches. This will be a cause of concern for Jurgen Klopp. Although he didn’t make any moves in the January transfer window, it is believed that Klopp was happy to put a hold on recruitment until the summer, when you can recruit properly.

Lacazette would certainly be an exciting addition to a Liverpool side that started off so brightly, but have waned in recent times due to Sadio Mane’s absence. So it is clear that pace is a vital factor in Klopp’s build-up and Lacazette’s strengths could play into Liverpool’s hands.

Tottenham Hotspur

Spurs might have top-gun Harry Kane in their ranks, but they currently lack a reliable deputy to their main man. Vincent Janssen was brought in from Dutch football to fill in those shoes, but he hasn’t lived up to his billing and looks to be another in the long list of Premier League failures.

Spurs have tried to sign Lacazette in the past, but their attempts ended in a futile manner as Lyon didn’t budge. But with the player mostly becoming available in the summer, it could be the perfect chance for Spurs to capitalize on the opportunity and bring him in to improve their chances of challenging for the title again, next season. He wouldn’t necessarily be only a deputy to Kane, as Lacazette is more than capable of usurping the Englishman and challenging him for a starting spot constantly.
