A team that wasn’t expected to challenge for the title travels to one who should have led the table at this moment. Tottenham are surprise contenders for the Premier League crown and they travel to Manchester City in hopes of reducing the gap with leader’s Leicester.
Tottenham won the reverse fixture and will be looking for a similar performance while Manchester City will be looking not only for revenge but also to bounce back from a shock 3-1 loss at the hands of Leicester.
City could be in danger of losing ground on the leaders of the league and also in danger of losing their fourth place position to rivals Manchester United. Tottenham could also increase their lead over rivals Arsenal if they get the three points at the Etihad as expected.
We look ahead to an interesting clash by providing the three key battles for the game.
Nicolas Otamendi vs. Harry Kane
Otamendi didn’t have the greatest game against Leicester and will be looking for a better performance against Tottenham. The new signing was caught out many times and it could happen once again against Spurs in case he is not careful.
Harry Kane has found his scoring boots again this season and it was this game which saw him kick start his run of scoring in various games. Kane will also be looking to take some of the limelight off Dele Alli and star in this tie.
