3 Ideal Premier League destinations that Celtic’s Olivier Ntcham could consider including Southampton

As Celtic wrapped up another title win, Olivier Ntcham’s influence has been a key factor in the ease with which Celtic have walked to the title this season. Although Ntcham only arrived from Manchester City last summer, the Frenchman could move back to the Premier League.

Ntcham has been one of Brendan Rodgers best signings and he would be sad to see him go, but he would demand a much higher fee than the £4.5million that Celtic paid for him last summer. But where exactly will we see Ntcham next season?

Southampton

It is a path well-trodden for ex-Celtic players like Fraser Forster, Virgil Van Dijk and Victor Wanyama. A club like Southampton is the perfect place for Celtic players to begin their career in the Premier League. The problem for the Saints at the moment is they may not be in the league for long.

That could make the prospect of moving to the South Coast a lot less inviting. If they manage to stay up, however, Southampton must go for Ntcham to shore up their weak midfield area.

Leicester City

The thought of Ntcham being able to fizz delightful balls into Jamie Vardy would have any Foxes’ fan rubbing their hands with glee. A player like Ntcham would also be able to use his pace to give protection to the rather ponderous Leicester City defence.

For Leicester, it appears that the season is petering out and although they have easily avoided relegation, all is not well in their camp. If Ntcham were to make this move, he would have to carefully consider the managerial climate and whether or not he can cope with a potential upheaval.

Crystal Palace

The fact that Crystal Palace will stay in the Premier League beyond the end of this season is quite remarkable given the start they had. But looking back on this season as a whole, the fans will be disappointed with the way they might finish.

Hence, ahead of next season, the Eagles must make clever signings to ensure they improve in the next campaign and avoid getting into a similar position. And Ntcham clearly falls into that category, especially if  Ruben Loftus-Cheek returns to Chelsea in the summer.
