3 Hard Working Managers Tottenham Can Sign If Pochettino Decides To Quit Tottenham This Summer

Mauricio Pochettino’s side managed to add 3 more points to their Premier League tally, as a brace from Harry Kane set them on their way to a 3-2 victory over Everton at home this weekend. This win consolidated their 2nd place in the points table but Tottenham have little chance of catching Chelsea up at the top. The fans will be happy with the way the manager has got the team to play in the last couple of seasons but they were dealt a blow after it was revealed that he is one of the few managers on the short-list to replace Luis Enrique at the Camp Nou. The current Barcelona manager is set to step down at the end of the season and the Spanish outfit are desperate for a top class manager and have Pochettino on their shortlist. It will be a huge blow for Tottenham if they end up losing the Argentine and here are 3 hard working managers who they can replace him with, should he leave to Spain this summer:

Claudio Ranieri:

How can you not think about giving this Italian a shot at the Premier League title again? The former Leicester City boss, lost his job at the King Power late last month. However, Leicester City decided to party ways with him and there are very few reasons why Tottenham should not sign him up this summer. He has experience in the Premier League and his exploits with Leicester City show that he is capable of competing with the best. He is a well respected manager and could be a more than able replacement for Pochettino at White Hart Lane.

Luciano Spalletti:

Spalletti is currently doing a decent job and would be a great option for the London outfit. The 56-year old Italian took charge of Italian outfit AS Roma at the start of the previous year and has lifted them to 2nd place in the Serie A points table, 8 points off Juventus at the top. They have all but secured a place in Europe but Spurs are confident of being able to lure him to the Lane this summer. Spalletti is yet to manage a club in England and he might find it hard in his first season in London but he is a smart manager who can lift Tottenham to glory in years to come.

Roberto Mancini:

Mancini is the front runner for landing the Tottenham job if Pochettino leaves this summer. He seems to be the best option for the London outfit. Having lifted the Premier League a few years ago at the Etihad with Manchester City, Mancini is one of the most respected and decorated managers in the world of football at the moment. He was in charge of Italian outfit Inter Milan at the start of the season but in August, he was relieved of his duties on a mutual agreement with the Italian outfit. His managerial, as well as playing experience in the Premier League will surely help Tottenham Hotspur take the next step.
