The current Olympique Lyon centre-back has been scouted by many top clubs during the summer transfer window, but the defender chose France, but we all are aware of the fact that if he puts a great show there, a move to England is not very far.

The English defender has been impressive for his Middlesbrough side who have failed in an attacking sense following their promotion to the Premier League. His initial form leads to the rumours of an England call up and reported interest from league toppers Chelsea.
But as the season has gone by, those rumours have vanished into thin air. Gibson is nevertheless an impressive player with a bright future and the chance to play with some high-quality English talents like Alli, Kane, Rose and Walker might be too hard to resist for Gibson.
