3 goals, 10 assists – Chelsea’s future would be in safe hands if they sign this highly talented Kosovo starlet this month

Here’s why Arber Zeneli will be a shrewd investment for the future by Chelsea

Kosovo international winger Arber Zeneli is attracting interest from Premier League giants Chelsea, according to reports from the Express.

Chelsea have historically always been a side with top-quality players who would work their socks off for the joy of getting 3 points against their biggest rivals.

Even defenders have always pitched in with goals at Chelsea and the attacking benchmark set by this club is too high for even their own good in the current situation.

After Maurizio Sarri’s arrival at Stamford Bridge, there have been some very clear changes to the this team’s functionality. Under the previous leadership of Antonio Conte, players were forced to stay with the rest of the boys at the team hotel on every night prior to a match day but all that is a thing of the past now, as reported by BBC.

Things like diet restrictions were decreased and the aura around the club has changed in general. With Conte’s departure, Chelsea aren’t a side that play defensive football anymore; in fact, they play the ‘SarriBall’.

Sarri has done a decent bit of work in his first months on the job by showing the Chelsea fans what the finished product will look like once he gets the time and the players that he wants. With a new striker deal already in the pipeline according to Sky Sports, things are looking positive at Chelsea.

Often playing without a recognised striker, to say that they are overly dependent on Eden Hazard to make things happen for them would be a massive understatement. They can use a younger, more mobile player who can take the place of the ageing Pedro and Willian in the team.

According to the Express, Chelsea are lining a swoop for Heerenveen winger Arber Zeneli. He is a Kosovo international who prefers a role on the left wing. Like Hazard, he is an expert dribbler who boasts a very low centre of gravity.

He is also a strong runner down the flanks and offers more defensive work rate than the Belgian as well. He has played 16 Eredivisie games this term and has scored 3 and assisted 10 goals.

His form has attracted interest from many clubs but Chelsea are the side who would benefit the most from signing this youngster as he can learn and develop with Hazard and grow into another wonderful player for the Blues to utilise on the left flank.
