3 Bundesliga stars who could join PL in the summer including £90million Liverpool and Manchester United target

Leon Bailey

3 Bundesliga Players Who Are Destined To Join Premier League Next Season

Bundesliga has always been the breeding ground of some of the most talented footballers in the world. The league’s ability to nurture young talents has proved beneficial for many of the World’s highly rated footballers at the moment.

In fact, few of the current Premier League stars arrived on the back of a strong Bundesliga career and this season has been no exception either, with the likes of Andreas Christensen and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang trying to make their mark in the English top flight, following a strong campaign with their respective Bundesliga teams.

In this article, we will talk about three Bundesliga players who are likely to make a move to the Premier League in the summer.

Leon Bailey – Bayer Leverkusen

Interested teams: Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham.

One of the most impressive foreign players in the Bundesliga this season, Leon Bailey has been the rising star for Leverkusen so far. Following a rough start to his life in the German top flight at the end of last season, the Jamaican has come out all guns blazing this campaign, scoring 8 goals in 19 matches.

The former Genk winger has been an integral part of Leverkusen’s offensive firepower this season, being directly involved in 15 goals in all competitions. His ability to drift past defenders with ease has helped him reignite his form in the German top flight this season while his sheer pace is perfect for Leverkusen’s counter-attacking approach.

However, Die Werkself could lose their prized attacking asset in the upcoming summer transfer window, with the Jamaican having already admitted his wish of playing in the Premier League. Numerous PL clubs are vying for the signature of the Leverkusen super-talent and one of them could splash some serious money for the 20-year-old this summer.

Christian Pulisic – Borussia Dortmund

Interested teams: Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Tottenham

Christian Pulisic is currently one of the world’s most talented teenage footballers. Following his breakthrough in the 2015-16 season, the American sensation has established a regular spot in the Borussia Dortmund starting XI.

With the likes of Marco Reus, Andre Schurrle and Raphael Guerreiro struggling with frequent injuries, the presence of Christian Pulisic has been a boon for the Dortmund fans this season. Although his tally of 3 goals and 3 assists might seem mediocre for a player of his calibre, Pulisic has been involved in much more than just scoring goals or providing assists in the final third.

His prolific pace and impressive trickery in the final third could be enough to bamboozle any defender on a given day. Pulisic is one of those players who can be deemed as an old-school winger, often using his pace and quick movements to get to the byline and provide a dangerous cross.

Borussia Dortmund have already slapped a £90million price tag on the American teenage sensation, who could well move to the PL next season.

Arturo Vidal – FC Bayern Munich

Interested teams: Manchester United and Chelsea

Last but not least, Bayern Munich’s Arturo Vidal could be the next Bundesliga ace to move to the Premier League next summer. The German giants have already lured in Schalke midfielder Leon Goretzka. The German international will join the club on a free transfer at the start of the next season.

Goretzka is expected to replace Arturo Vidal, whose current contract with the club expires at the end of next season, meaning the Bavarians could be keen to get rid of the Chilean this summer. Chelsea and Manchester United have shown a keen interest in the services of the former Juventus midfielder. United, in particular, would love to pair him up with his former teammate, Paul Pogba, in the midfield next season.
