3 Budget FPL Players You Should Pick For This Weekend

We are approaching game-week 13 and the competition is slowly starting to heat up amongst teams both at the top and bottom end of the table. FPL fans are scrambling to make changes with some new players beginning to hit form.

We take a look at three Premier League footballers who are likely to earn a whole bunch of points this weekend at a reasonable price.

Joe Gomez

With Nathaniel Clyne still recovering from a back operation, young Joe Gomez will continue to take his place at right-back for the Reds this season. The 20-year-old has made significant progress this season in the absence of Clyne which also saw him earn his first international cap for England earlier this month. Jurgen Klopp has shown tremendous faith in Gomez with the England youngster proving to be solid for the Reds.

For £4.6m the England international is an absolute steal. Expect a big performance from the England international against Chelsea this weekend.

Richarlison

The 20-year-old Brazilian who joined Watford in the summer for £11.5million has turned out to be one of the best signings of the season after scoring 5 goals and setting up 3 in just 12 Premier League appearances. He has been in great form over the last couple of weeks and is also the leading goalscorer for Watford.

The Brazilian has already racked up 66 points in the Fantasy Premier League and is great value for money signing at just £6.5m. The Watford winger should be once again in top form when he faces Newcastle United on Saturday. So if you’re looking for a midfielder who can get you loads points at a bargain price, then Richarlison is one of the best ones available.

Xherdan Shaqiri

The Swiss international might not have many goals to his name this season but his recent performances against Brighton and Leicester City have shown glimpses of the 26-year-old’s return to form.

Shaqiri has scored 3 goals and 3 assists in his last 3 games and will look to continue his form when Stoke take on Crystal Palace at the weekend. Palace are still at the bottom of the table and could become the victims of the Swiss winger. Shaqiri is available for just £5.9m and is a really good value for money.
