£24m Star Reveals The Difference In Mentality Between Arsenal & Manchester United

It’s a season of Autobiographies as two of former Manchester United stars have released their books with a lot of interesting insights of their successful careers with the Red Devils.

According to the report from Daily star, Rio Ferdinand has revealed that the £24m signing Robin van Persie has revealed the difference between life at Arsenal and Manchester United. The Dutch man who moved to Old Trafford during Sir Alex’s Ferguson’s last season at the helm had a successful first season with the club helping them to lift their 20th title.

“Robin van Persie loved the winning mind state that Fergie had created. He told me that at Arsenal you wanted to win, but at United you had to win.” is what Ferdinand wrote on his book.

However, life hasn’t been all the very smooth for the influential striker at Old Trafford. Following his debut season with the club, RVP suffered extended spells on the sidelines last season under David Moyes while the Gunners managed to retain 4th spot and pick up a silver ware that he badly wanted to win during his time at the Emirates.
