Manchester United Transfers
Manchester United are officially going for the title next season, rumours are set that Louis Van Gaal will be provided with a war chest of £200 million and he would be looking to invest heavily into the team. Van Gaal would have to do better than what he did last time around, Angel Di Maria cost Manchester United a bunch but he didn’t really live up to the billing and his season fizzled out after Christmas.
United need to invest in quite a few positions and to push them to the top of the table, here are some of the players they can target with this transfer kitty.
1. Gareth Bale
Probably going to cost Manchester United a huge amount, but having Gareth Bale on one side of the attack and Di Maria on the other would be pretty tasty. The Welshman is on the wrong side of the fans at Madrid and quick return to the Premier League wouldn’t be the worst thing for him.
Bale might have helped Real Madrid win the 10th Champions League title, but he didn’t star all that much last season. Rafa Benitez could play a huge part in the transfer, would he be willing to sell one of the best players in the world to Manchester United? Probably not but a huge transfer fee might make him think otherwise.
