Tom Smith’s excellent season at right-back has been well documented and he will surely be a target for those in the top division. Newcastle, should they get promoted; presuming that Stoke and Crystal Palace stay up in the Premier League; they may all be in the market for a right-back. Another question would be – how long will Seamus Coleman be out for Everton?

All the above-mentioned clubs are potential suitors for Smith and if Huddersfield lose him, it could be devastating.  His attacking play, as well as his defensive prowess, has been a major plus for the Terriers and so the young Sunderland man may be available as a replacement.
