2 Premier League clubs who should sign this Everton speed demon on loan including Newcastle United

Two Premier League clubs that should sign Ademola Lookman

Everton have made a decent start under new manager Marco Silva and are currently eighth in the table just two points behind sixth-placed Manchester United. They have played some good football this season and look like real challengers for the European spots come May.

While the creative department has done a fantastic job so far, they have lacked the cutting edge in the finishing area. As a result, they have missed some good chances to get a result against the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool and Man United.

However, there is one player who has always impressed whenever he has come off the bench in the wide attacking area – Ademola Lookman. The 21-year-old, who was loaned out to German side RB Leipzig and impressed with 5 goals in 11 games, isn’t getting the regular minutes at Goodison Park this season. He has looked sharp though, whenever he has been called upon for a cameo.

Hence, it would be sensible from the Toffees’ viewpoint to loan the player in January on a short-term basis. Here are the two Premier League clubs who should be interested in getting the winger:

Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace have really struggled for creativity and pace in their side. Andros Townsend and Wilfried Zaha are playing up front these days, meaning the Eagles have no pace in the wide attacking areas of the pitch.

Roy Hodgson

Getting Lookman on loan would really help Roy Hodgson’s men two-fold. The young winger can play on either wing, create chances for the front men and also chip in with the goals if required.

The Eagles boss is renowned for getting the best out of talented young players. He could do the same with the 21-year-old Ademola Lookman.

Newcastle United

The Magpies have picked up form in the past month, winning four of their last seven games, currently staying on an upward curve. However, other than Matt Ritchie and Kenedy, they do not have real quality in the wide areas.

With all due respect, Christian Atsu and Jacob Murphy don’t really possess the qualities required to impact games in the Premier League.

Rafael Benitez

Therefore, Newcastle should look for other options in the market and since they always have a tight budget, a loan move for Lookman would be ideal. The Everton man has abundant qualities to trouble the defenders and be the main man for Rafa Benitez’s men in the second part of this campaign.
