Two Players Who Arsenal Can Sign To Get Their Season Back On Track
Arsene Wenger is suddenly staring down a big hole at the end of this transfer window, as his side were handed a footballing lesson on their trip to Anfield in the previous game before the international break. The manager is still looking for players who can improve the squad this summer but is unable to get deals done for top transfer targets.
He is also in danger of losing up to three first team players before the deadline day and not much is going right for the club at the moment. However, Wenger still has time to make things right but will have to spend big in order to improve his squad for the challenges that lie ahead.
Arsenal continues to be linked with some of the finest players in Europe but who should Wenger sign? Here are two players who can instantly make Arsenal’s season better:
Renato Sanches (Bayern Munich)
The Portuguese wonderkid is easily one of the most exciting youngsters in world football at the moment but he has not been able to earn the trust of Carlo Ancelotti, the man in charge at the Allianz Arena, and has extensively been linked with an exit this summer. He was excluded from the squad for the previous game before the international break and is sure to quit the club now.
Liverpool are reportedly front runners to sign him up but Arsenal have been linked with a move for him this summer. He is only available on loan and is a short term solution but Arsenal have loads of problems in the midfield that Sanches can solve and he is a necessity at the Emirates at the moment. Surely, his signature can make the Gunners a stronger outfit instantly.
Julian Draxler (PSG)
The versatile German playmaker has found life difficult at the French capital since PSG decided to sign Neymar Jr from Barcelona. Having only joined the club in January this year, Draxler has been in decent form for the club but the new signing has pushed him out of the first team, thus sliding down the pecking order.
PSG have loads of quality in their squad and are ready to let him leave and Bayern Munich are currently very much interested in his signature. He is a long term target for Arsene Wenger and he should do everything to sign him up, especially if Alexis Sanchez decides to quit the club.
