2 ideal PL destinations for this 23-year-old Championship magician including Manchester United

Two Ideal Premier League destinations for Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish

Jack Grealish was a subject of grave interest during the summer transfer window. Many Premier League clubs wanted the attacking playmaker, making use of the poor financial conditions of Aston Villa. If we read the reports in Independent and Metro, we can see that the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham were very much interested in signing the player.

It was Spurs who tried until the deadline day of the English transfer window, but couldn’t force the deal over the line. The club offered a deal worth £25m but Villa remained adamant to keep hold of the player at all costs, which was a surprise to many given their situation. (Sky Sports)

It was a sensible decision from the Championship club as they seek to have any chance of getting back into the Premier League this season. For that to happen, they require players like Grealish to stay and play at a higher level.

The 23-year-old is talented enough to deserve interest from some of the big clubs in England, so we can expect this soap-opera to continue in the winter or next summer. If at all he moves out of Villa in the future, here are two ideal destinations:

Jack Grealish

Manchester United

The Pogba situation may never be solved when Jose Mourinho is in charge, and we may well not be able to see the Frenchman perform at the level expected of him.

Grealish is a type of player who is very good on the ball, playing in the pockets of space available. At Villa, he has so far gradually learnt how to be good off the ball, which would please Mourinho. The 23-year-old may well be the missing piece of the jigsaw to link the midfield and the attack.

Liverpool

In Grealish, they might get a player who can fill the creator role which was left wide open by the departure of Phillipe Coutinho at the start of this calendar year.

Any player who is good on the ball would be tempted to join the exciting Jurgen Klopp. The 23-year-old can be a very fine addition to the Liverpool squad.
