2 Brighton Players Who Could Take The Premier League By A Storm Next Season

Much like Danny Drinkwater at Leicester City, Stephens is another case of English midfielders being often overlooked until they reach the big time. There is technically nothing wrong with his play; an 87% passing accuracy is a huge stat and is a key reason why the likes of Murray and Knockaert are free to take the plaudits.

His average of 2.2 tackles per game is the third-best at the club, 1.8 dribbles the best at the club and 47.7 passes per game again the third best. His overall game is statistically excellent and even visually, his game is very pleasing.

At 27, Stephens is now reaching his peak and is doing so just at the right time. He will not be out of place in the Premier League and make no mistake, he will be key to Brighton’s relative success next season. The man from Bolton is out of contract this summer at the Amex and therefore it is crucial that Brighton act fast to secure his services.
