It is that time of the year again, when teams try to rectify their transfer errors or try and sign cover for certain players or positions. There are often steals available during this window, a player might have his contract ending in June and often they sign pre contracts in January or the team who they currently want to play for try to cash in.

The 29 year old Dutchman may find his time coming to an end at AC Milan, there was constant speculation that he might have moved to Manchester United in the summer but that move did not take place. This time around, a move would suit both AC Milan and de Jong.
