₤20 Million Unhappy Manchester United Star – Arsenal Are In The Chase

Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez has hinted he may leave the Red Devils soon in search for more first team game time elsewhere.

Hernandez is currently struggling to find a place in United starting lineup. He had just started one game this season (against West Brom) where he failed to impress the new manager -David Moyes. With the likes of Robin van Persie, Rooney and Welbeck in the squad, it will be real tough for the Mexican to climb the striker queue at Old Trafford.

In a latest interview with U.S. Hispanic TV station Deportes Telemundo, Javier Hernandez said (according to ESPN),

“I strive to start more games”

“I am working towards earning a spot as a starter. I know that my performance on the pitch will allow me to achieve that goal someday either here [in Manchester] or elsewhere for any other club.”

“I just need to be given more opportunities to showcase what I can do, because all of us want to be able to contribute our part so this team can win championships.”

Now, the latest rumors suggest that the league leaders Arsenal are very much interested in bringing Chicharito to Emirates in the January window. With Walcott and Podolski injured, Arsenal are lacking depth in the forward areas. Giroud is the only reliable center forward available for them at the moment. In order to solve these issues, it is believed that Wenger will look for a new striker in the winter window and Chicharito fits the bill exactly for the gunners.

With Javier Hernandez available in the market, a ₤20 Million transfer fee would do the trick for the gunners in their pursuit for the goal poacher’s signature.
