According to the Mirror, Arsenal are keen on signing young Dutch sensation Jeroen Lumu from Willem II.
Jeroen Lumu is a versatile attacker who can play both at the wings or as a striker. Since breaking into the first team for Willem II last season, Jeroen Lumu has managed to score two league goals. Jeroen Lumu is regarded as one of the rising stars of Dutch football and media expects him to make a move to a big European club soon.
Aresnal are not the only English club interested in the player. Manchester United, Aston Villa and Fulham are also keeping an eye on the 18 year old winger. Transfer analysts believe that a £2m bid will be enough for any club to sign Jeroen Lumu.
Willem II managing director Mark Faber also hinted that Lumu may be sold if the right bid comes in,
He said (to the club website),
“There is interest from several sides Lumu, and that is understandable for a young talented player. Willem II is willing to discuss a possible transfer, in case of serious interest from clubs,”
