Manchester United And Real Madrid Target Flattered By The Interest, But Wants To Focus On His Current Club

Ecuador International Frickson Erazo is reportedly targeted by Manchester United and Real Madrid to land him during the summer transfer window. Erazo has been brilliant over the past 2 seasons, helping his Ecuadorian club Barcelona SC to win it’s first title since 1997.

Frickson Erazo, 24, admitted that he has had initial contacts with by Manchester United over a possible move at the end of this season. He may not sound like the typical signing that Sir Alex Ferguson would do, but the fact that he has sent his scouts to watch the unknown Ecuadorian league proves that Erazo could soon be a recognizable player across Europe.

However, the player has suggested that he is focused at his current job and is not thinking anything else. He was quoted by TuttoMercatoWeb as;

“It’s true that there was initial contact, but it will not help if my performance drops. I try not to think about this. It’s really flattering that big European clubs are watching football in my country, but if you think about playing with Real Madrid or Manchester United you risk losing concentration.”

Frickson Erazo has been capped 15 times by Ecuador and has a goal to his name.
